The Tektronix 067-0885-00 is a microwave comb generator plug-in for the TM500 system.

The comb generator is commonly used as an accessory to the 2790 series of spectrum analyzers, and also for calibration of the 7L18.

It consists of a TM500 plug-in containing a 500 MHz, +30 dBm (1 W) signal source that can be frequency- or pulse-modulated externally, a coaxial cable, 3 dB attenuator, and a comb generator module (015-1054-00).

When output of the signal source is applied to the comb generator module via the coaxial cable. a comb line (spectrum) of markers is generated, which are harmonics of the fundamental 500 MHz.

The crystal controlled source provides an accurate reference to check frequency readout accuracy up to 20 GHz.

The unit is fitted with a SMA connector for its output.
