Template:Plugin Sidebar 2 The Tektronix 3A3 is a dual trace differential amplifier for 560-series scopes. It was designed by Roy Hayes.

Key Specifications

Bandwidth 500 kHz or 5 kHz (switch-selectable)
Deflection 0.1 mV/Div to 10 V/Div, 1−2−5
Input impedance 1 MΩ // 47 pF

Internals

Early 3A3s use a 7586 Nuvistor for the front end cathode follower. Serial numbers 4990 and up use a dual JFET.
