If you get the "Sorry, the file cannot be displayed. There seems to be a technical issue ..." error when trying to view an image, a workaround is to click on the cog icon in the upper right side of the media viewer, and then select "Disable Media Viewer". We are aware of the problem and are looking for a solution.

C30 and C32 (100 μF, 25 V) have a tendency to leak or short, causing associated resistors R30 and R32 (240 Ω, 0.25 W, 5%) to overheat and fail. A good preventative maintenance procedure would be to replace these two capacitors with modern equivalents. Two 5CT1N units purchased online had this fault, and replacement of the capacitors and resistors restored proper operation.

Common Problems

C30 and C32 (100 μF, 25 V) are under-rated and therefore have a tendency to leak or short, causing associated resistors R30 and R32 (240 Ω, 0.25W, 5%) to overheat and fail. C30 and C32 should be replaced with modern equivalents rated at 63 V.
