The Tektronix 9503/9504 Fast Data Cache is a RAM-based storage device intended to accept parallel digital data at high speed, store it, and allow it to be read at low speed by a computer via GPIB.

It was designed to be used with an RTD710 Digitizer but can be used with other digitizers or data sources.

The 9503 has a fixed amount of memory: 2 MWords per channel or 4 MWords single channel. The 9504 is expandable and can provide up to 32 MWords of capacity.
