[[Tunnel | [[Tunnel diodes]] are getting hard to find, although some types are more rare than others. Many Tektronix oscilloscopes use tunnel diodes in their sweep trigger circuits. When these diodes fail, the entire instrument is useless until you find a replacement. | ||
