The General Radio 1000-P1 is a 50 Ω, 1 W, Inline Terminator with GR-874 connectors. It appears to be a very early version, probably with limited bandwidth, made in a GR-874X Insertion Unit but with a continuous center conductor. The outer sleeve is fixed in place by a single screw, and both ends of the sleeve are slotted and bent slightly inwards to provide good electrical contact between the sleeve and body. The wire-on-mica resistor limits the bandwidth, but this was superseded by a shorter inline terminator with a central resistive disk. I have not found either version in any General Radio catalog.
