Phosphor
The CRT in Tektronix oscilloscopes often had a standard phosphor based on the intended application of the instrument. On request, other phosphors were available. The phosphor affects:
- trace color
- maximum trace brightness
- trace width
- persistence time
- writing rate
- resistance to burns
