The Tektronix 183 is part of the rotational analyzer system. The 183B appears in the 1961 catalog.
The Tektronix 183 is a rotational analyzer for use with the 182 angle-encoding transducer. The Tektronix 182A and 183A were furnished as a set, since the calibration of the 182A was part of the 183A. This was changed in the 182B and 183B series, so the 182B rotational trandsducer and the 183B rotational analyzer were completely interchangeable. Consequently, "A" series and "B" series models may not be mixed.
