The Tektronix 021-0033-00 Data Communications Interface Unit allows a Tektronix Graphic Computer Terminal (e.g., 4002A) to be connected to a remote computer via a modem. It is what we today call a serial port card, i.e, a UART plus the circuitry to interface with the computer's bus.
