The 067-1429-00 probe adapter is a buffer amplifier intended to be used with a P6109 ×10 probe and a VM700A. It provides a voltage gain of ×10 and an output impedance of 75 Ω.

Internals
The PCB holds two jumpers: One to select the line voltage, and one to select between dc and ac coupling. Since the output amplifier is an opamp with a series resistor to provide the 75 Ω output impedance the probe adapter is easily modified to 50 Ω output impedance by changing this resistor.
