The 12RS11 is a 32K EPROM pack for the 1240 and 1241. The idea is that users can permanently save configurations by first uploading it to a controller using GPIB or RS-232 and then burn the data using a programmer. It is the exact same as the 12RS12, but it didn't come with EPROMs. It meant to use four Motorola 68766 or 68764 EPROMS.
