Aris K. Silzars (? in Riga, Latvia – ?) worked on design of high speed deflection structure for 7104 and other CRT developments.

He holds a Master's degree in Physics and a PhD in Electrical Engineering (1969). Previously worked at Watkins-Johnson. Now lives in Seattle area. Has a spectacular home laboratory in his home which includes two electron microscopes (that Dennis Tillman and he were able to resurrect.)
