The Lavoie LA-265A is a 33MHz scope that takes letter-series and 1-series plug-ins. It has two timebases, which allows delayed triggering. It is a military cloned Tektronix 545


Electrian difference to 545

Circuit is identical to the high-voltage part with Tektronix 545A Glow lamp used to stabilize high voltage in brightness circuit. But glow lamp stabilizer is often fautly. It aged to fast and then trace flickers.


Mechanically difference to 545

Transformer is potted. Ceramic terminals may soldering with ordinarily solder, because terminals has tin-plated steel insert.
