Various pieces of Tek equipment including the 7D20 and the 11000-series plugins and TDS series oscilloscope with three digit contain NVRAM chips.
The instruments sometimes give NVRAM errors when the NVRAM's data decays. Storing fresh data in the NVRAM restores the signature data in the NVRAM and the error often goes away.
