Jumper cable with Pin Tip Plugs

Pin Tip Plugs and Pin Tip Jacks form a 2 millimeter (0.08 in) connector system sometimes used in multimeters and therefore also called meter pin connectors. In contrast to the banana connector, the pin does not bear any springs and is straight, requiring springs in the jack for good contact. Some 5000-series plugins use 0.040 inch (~1 mm) pin connectors.
