The 12RM99 Opt 06 is a software ROM pack for the 1240/1241. It is used to disassemble instructions from the Motorola 146805E2 microprocessor. Note that although Tektronix identified this CPU as 6805E2, the correct Motorola part number is 146805E2, as it is a CMOS part, as opposed to the HMOS 6805 series.

The UPIK40 harness can be used to simplify connection to the target processor, but is not required.
