The 12RM99 Opt 15 is a software ROM pack for the 1240/1241. It is used to disassemble instructions from the Motorola DSP56000/1 Digital Signal Processors (DSP).

Note that the 1989 catalog erroneously states that the Motorola DSP56000/1 is supported by 12RM99 Opt 17.

The reader should note that one or both of the referenced ROM images is/are bad. When installed in a 1240 the analyzer reports an "INVALID CHECKSUM: PACK IGNORED" error message.
