The Tektronix 2430 is a portable dual-channel digital scope from the 2000-series. The 2430 was introduced in 1986, the updated 2430A in 1988.
The 2430M variant, introduced in 1987, offers Control Intermediate Interface Language (CIIL) capability for operation in Modular Automatic Test Equipment (MATE) used in testing military avionics and weapons systems.
WARNING: Operation of the 2440, 2440M, 2439, 2432, 2432A, 2432M, 2431L, 2430, 2430A, 2430M and 2424L: The A/D-converter and CCD hybrids may suffer irreparable damage within a few minutes if operated out of the metal enclosure without extra cooling.
