The Sony/Tektronix 380 is an NTSC test monitor (video waveform monitor/vectorscope/oscilloscope combination). The 381 is the PAL version.
The 380 can be powered from AC or from a 12 V battery. The optional 016-0693-00 battery pack is documented in the 380 manual.
