Hocking Electronics was originally founded in 1962 by Donald Hocking as DEB Electronics in St Albans, Hertfordshire, UK. It incorporated as Hocking Electronics in 1971, and was later acquired by GE Inspection Technologies.
The company specialized in Eddy-current non-destructive testing.
GE's acquisition of Hocking expanded their NDT offerings to include eddy current solutions, complementing their existing radiography and ultrasound capabilities.
