The Intersil ICL7135 is a 4½ digit dual-slope DVM monolithic integrated circuit chip in a 28-pin DIP, introduced in 1979.
The ICL7135, when combined with external clock and reference sources plus a few other components, is essentially a DMM on a chip.
The display is provided by way of multiplexed BCD outputs.
There were several manufacturers beside Intersil, including Maxim and Texas Instruments.
