Triquint Semiconductor Inc. (→ WikiData) was a semiconductor company spun off from Tek Labs' Gallium Arsenide Strategic Business Unit in 1985 to commercialize GaAs IC technology.
TriQuint designed, manufactured, and supplied high-performance RF modules and components, and provided foundry services.
In 1987, TriQuint introduced the first commercial GaAs D-to-A converter.
In 2015, the company merged with RF Micro Devices (Greensboro, NC) to form Qorvo, Inc.
