The Tektronix PG509 is a pulse generator for use in TM500-series systems. Driving a 50-ohm load, it produces a rectangular positive pulse waveform with:
- 25V amplitude,
- 44ns pulse width,
- 50kHz repetition rate, and
- 350ps risetime.
The PG509 is intended for use as a stimulus for making measurements. It uses an avalanche transistor and charge line to generate the output pulse.
