Since the [[012-0102-00]] does not cover all lines present on this connector, I am in favor of keeping it. Also, the same connector (!?) is used for a similar interface for the 7k series, and here there is also a separate page for it [[7000-series_remote_control_connector]] - so already from consistency I would keep it.

Okay, I'll leave it here, but I'll edit it to correct and clarify what the remote control actually does.

Wouldn't it make more sense to include this as part of the remote control page? The pinout applies equally to both the plug and receptacle. That way, access is equally direct from both the 549 and the 564B. Jim Adney, Madison, WI (talk) 22:46, 6 April 2023 (PDT)

I also just noticed that this wiring list shows a connection to pin E, but there is no connection to E on the control. The control only has 3 pushbuttons, while 4 are called out on this list.

I would like to move everything on this page to the 012-0102-00 page and correct this error. Then this page could be deleted. (Yes, I realize this is the second delete I've recommended in 2 days. ;-) ) I'll do the moving if you give me permission. Jim Adney, Madison, WI (talk) 13:11, 7 April 2023 (PDT)
