The Tektronix 7F10 is an optical-input vertical plug-in introduced in 1987 for 7000-series scopes. The 7F10 has 10kHz - 750MHz bandwidth. The 7F10A has DC - 1GHz bandwidth and appeared only in the 1989 catalog, without price indication. Like the 11F10, which also was advertised in the 1989 catalog, it was not released to the market. Both are specified for the 700nm to 1550nm range of optical wavelengths. Both use germanium avalanche photodiodes as the O/E transducer. The 7F10 uses the main amplifier board of the 7A29 vertical 1GHz amplifier plug-in.
