The Tektronix 013-046 is a switching box that allows the user to manually switch between two input signals without unplugging and plugging cables. In modern parlance, it is a 2-to-1 analog multiplexer. It is completely passive. The inputs are female UHF connectors and the output is a male UHF connector.
