Microfiche documentation is available for some instruments, parts, and products. Most of the 013-series adapters, 067-series calibration fixtures, and 120-series transformers have microfiche documentation. Many (most?) manuals are available in microfiche form. The VintageTEK Museum has an extensive set of fiche and a microfiche scanner. Some individuals have smaller collections of fiche and may have the ability to produce digital files.
The image quality of microfiche scans is usually not as good as paper scans. Consequently, it is often difficult to get accurate OCR results on scans from microfiche.
