The Tektronix 183 is a rotational analyzer for use with the 182 angle-encoding transducer. The 183B appears in the 1961 catalog.
The Tektronix 182A and 183A were furnished as a set, since the calibration of the 182A was part of the 183A. This was changed in the 182B and 183B series, so the 182B rotational transducer and the 183B rotational analyzer were completely interchangeable. Consequently, "A" series and "B" series models may not be mixed.
The cable between the 182 and 183 uses Amphenol 165 series connectors. The 183's outputs are via UHF connectors.
The 183's predecessor might be the 32TU.
