This diode test jig adapter was using a 013-0080-00 diode test jig. | |||
This test jig replaced the poorly working (bad contact) original TF-1 | |||
(017-0721) for the 291, together with a new adapter (017-0075-00). | |||
In some cases TF-1 have been made to work reliably by replacing the weak | |||
AlNiCo magnet is holding the axial leaded (magnetic) diode in place, by | |||
replacing it with a much stronger FeNdB magnet the same size | |||
(easily available on Ebay). | |||
