The Tektronix 021-0188-00 Data Communication Interface attaches to the rear of a 4051 via a card-edge connector and provides an RS 232 port and two slots to accept expansion ROM cartridges/packs. If purchased with a 4051, it was known as Option 1, otherwise it is referred to by its model number 021-0188-00.
