GV4S-1400

The GV4S-1400 (P/N 154-0432-00) is a "Corotron" high-voltage regulator tube tube used in the high voltage circuit of the 422 to regulate the grid/cathode potential.
These tubes operate in corona discharge mode at low currents (starting at ~20 μA) and are described as a "high voltage equivalent of the Zener diode" in the manufacturer's catalog.
