Steve Palmquist

Steven Robert Palmquist (b. 1950-08-14 in Columbia, MO – d. 2022-03-25 in Richland, WA) joined Tektronix in 1974 and worked at the company for nine years before leaving in 1983 to found Integrated Measurement Systems, which he later sold.

He returned to Tektronix Color Printer Division in Wilsonville as VP of Engineering, and retired at age 49.

According to Technology Report Jan/Feb 1983,

Steve Palmquist is the engineering manager of the Logic Analyzer business unit.

Steve joined Tektronix in 1974 from Bell Labs where he worked on analog and digital hardware design, and test software.

Earlier, he did device modeling and circuit simulations for the Atomic Energy Commission.

Steve received his BSEE from Washington State University and his MSEE from the University of Illinois.
