The Tektronix P6444 programmable-threshold probe can be used with the 1230, 1225 and 1220 logic analyzers.

It is a 16-channel data acquisition probe with two clocks, one qualifier, and one external trigger input. Clock polarity and qualifier enables are set through DIP switches.

Note from operators manual:

You cannot mix P6442 probes with P6443 or P6444 probes to take an acquisition.
If you acquire data on P6442 probes at the same time you try to sample data on P6443/P6444 probes, the acquired data from the P6443/P6444 probes will be invalid.

Specifications

The P6444 is significantly larger then the P6442 and P6443. It uses the 174-0752-00, 174-0763-00, and 174-0764-00 lead set.

Two versions exist, one has a removable cable and a different probe socket. The internals are exactly the same for both version though. The removable cable version was made before 1991 and the fixed cable after 1991.

Internals

The inputs are handled by four 165-2304-01 hybrids, two mounted on either side of the PCB. The probe connectors have a 430 Ω resistor inline with the connector.
