The 7189 (European: E84L) is a power pentode vacuum tube with a B9A (Noval) miniature 9-pin base that can handle 400 V plate voltage.
It is the high quality version of the 6BQ5 aka EL84 tube.
Used in
- The output stage of the 106 uses 7189As, which have different pinouts. 7189s may be used if the socket wiring is modified.
