For some of the transducer characterization tests (table 3) a broadband pulser/receiver system was used in conjunction with a broadband oscilloscope and RF Spectrum analyzer.
This pulser/receiver was manufactured by Xenotec, Ltd., model XP/R-2. This system is described in more detail in [NBSIR 75-685]. - Eitzen et.al., Improved ultrasonic standard reference blocks. Report NBSIR 75-685 (1975)
