The Tektronix H101  (P/N 155-0068-00) is an amplifier hybrid integrated circuit in a stud-mounted metal can. It was designed by Thor Hallen. The input transistors are 4GHz PNP devices that Tektronix bought in raw die form from Motorola.

Gain control is provided by means of the variable resistance FET between pins 5 and 11.
