SHPi stands for "super high pi" and was an IC fabrication technology used by Tektronix.

It was an improvement on SH3.

According to John Addis,

The process name SHPi indicated it was not a significant enough update of SH3 (Super High 3) to be SH4, so somewhere between SH3 and SH4 (which never happened to my knowledge).
