Gale Morris (? – ?) was Tektronix' first industrial designer. He was responsible for the design of Tek's carts, e.g., the Type 202.
According to Morris' 2017 account (The history of the Tektronix 453 Oscilloscope @ YouTube), the 453 was the first Tek scope where industrial designers were "fully engrossed" in the design. The success of that instrument – IBM purchased a significant quantity based on the usability – led to this becoming the norm at Tek.
