The Sony/Tektronix AWG2005 is a 20 MS/s, 12-bit arbitrary waveform generator introduced in 1995.

Key Specifications

Frequency Point clock 0.01 Hz to 20 MHz, 4 digit resolution (Opt.05: 7 digits)
Channels 2 outputs (Opt.02: 4 outputs), 12 bit resolution; auxiliary marker output (2 V pulse into 50 Ω) per channel; low pass filters 0.5/1/2/5 MHz
Functions Sine, triangle, Square, Ramp, Pulse and Arbitrary; min. 16 points
Output Range: 50 mVp-pto 10 Vp-p (1 mV increments) into 50 Ω (source impedance 50 Ω), -5 V to +5 V offset (5 mV increments), -200 mA to 200 mA as current source
Memory 64K x 12 bits waveform per channel, can position 256 data point boundary in the waveform memory, 256 waveforms maximum; catalog memory 4 Mb
Storage 512K internal NVRAM (Li battery soldered on main board), 3.5" floppy drive
Sweep Linear, Log, Arbitrary; Continuous, Triggered, Gated modes
Interfaces GPIB, RS-232; direct transfers from TDS Series, 2200/2400 series, 11000 Series, AFG2020 or AWG20XX series
