8291A pinout (click to enlarge)

The Intel 8291(A) (Tek P/N ...) is an integrated circuit implementing a GPIB interface. It has a 40-pin DIL package.

The 8291 implements talker/listener functions, the 8292 can additionally be a bus controller.
