SKA6516
The SKA6516 (P/N 151-0367-00) is an NPN Transistor. Note: possibly incomplete info, service manuals to be checked.
Zenwizard Studios found thirteen of these in a 475 and thirteen of those tested as having a parasitic reverse diode junction.
I've listed eighteen from the 475 Service Manual in the 475 Repairs page.
- What would be a suitable modern replacement for these transistors?
The 475 Service manual lists some of the transistors with alternatives, and some without - so I'd be careful to check that some need to be closer in spec than others.
In his video, Mr ZenWizard Studios used KSP10BU from Mouser. Farnell has them, too.
How to identify this transistor
It's not very hard to identify these transistors. They will have a 151-367 number on them and when tested will show a reverse polarity protection diode, which should not be there. These typically have a 100% failure rate so you should replace them with the recommended transistor listed in the preview.
