Each channel has a 12-pin input connector that fits the [[A6302]] probe (10.5 A continuous) or [[A6303]] probe (52.5 A continuous).

The current probe input is an [[Amphenol 165-12 connector]].
It contains pins for hall element and transformer connections, lock detection, probe degaussing, and probe type encoding.
The [[AM503]], [[AM5030]] and [[11A16]] use the same connector.
The 11A16 detects the current probe type and scales the display appropriately.
The 11A16 uses one [[M377]] amplifier chip per channel, U220 and U260.
The 11A16 was designed by [[Roy Kaufman]].
