The Tektronix GMA251 is a 19" ultra-high resolution grayscale digital display with a resolution up to 2048 x 1536 pixels on a 356 x 267 mm² viewing area. Although it looks like a monitor, it is a monitor and a frame buffer in one unit. The host computer controls the GMA251's frame buffer through a 16-bit parallel digital interface.
Conrad Odenthal designed the magnetically deflected CRT (also used in GMA201 and GMA202).
