The PM 103 personality module is a disassembly probe for the Motorola 6802 and Motorola 6808 microprocessor used with a 7D02 logic analyzer plug-in or a DAS9100 logic analyzer.

The target system microprocessor is plugged into a ZIF socket on the PM103, which in turn plugs into the target system processor socket.

Internal

The PM103 is identical to the PM102, except for the PCB in the target system processor plug (A05 instead of A04 for the PM102), which contains the required circuitry to implement the clock oscillator in the plug. This is necessary since the Motorola 6802 has a build in clock oscillator, however this would most likely not operate properly with an external crystal connected through the long capacitive harness.
