7000 series functional color code

I thing there are two more colors that had a meaning:

  • yellow means warning
  • orange means exclusive function

I tried to change it by myself... hopelfully have done it right...

I've started getting the colour values using picker on the shot from the video. Here's my first test:
#2F2960 Twilight
#5F6F96 Denim
#6D809F Slate blue
#8793AE Blue/grey
#B0B1C0 Cool grey
#130C31 Midnight
I'll play with the method and will get useful values in the coming weeks. Qfissler (talk) 14:30, 22 September 2023 (PDT)
So I was thinking that those hex colour values could be fed into a table to get a good render:

Finally got some better RBG values - more to do - I/we need to scour the brochures and catalogues for more
From page 9 of the catalogue YouTube
Display Mode Selection Display Mode Selection 17:01
Trigger Source or Control Trigger Source or Control 17:27
Uncalibrated Variable Uncalibrated Variable 18:25
Denotes functional relation Denotes functional relation 16:34
Caution (guessed) Caution 18:29
Exclusive function (page 31) Exclusive function 18:44

>>I honestly doubt that any "accurate" colors can be retrieved - unless we find some written specification about them somewhere - any representation on film, brochures or the instruments themselves has changed over the years. I would also be sceptical that Tek was neurotic about keeping these colors super consistent (compared to the classic Tek cabinet color for instance.) Gregor (talk) 07:47, 24 June 2024 (PDT)
