The Motorola 6821  (P/N 156-0427-03,156-1205-00) is a "Peripheral Interface Adapter (PIA)" monolithic integrated circuit is an I/O port controller for the Motorola 6800 family of microprocessors.

It is an updated version of the Motorola 6820 with slightly different specs.

It was second-sourced by several other companies. The 68B21 (156-1205-00) is a 2 MHz version.
