The Tektronix Shutter Actuator Model 2 is a mains-powered electromechanical system that enables an oscilloscope camera to take a photograph when an electrical remote control signal occurs. This allows, for example, an unattended setup where the oscilloscope screen is photographed when a rare electrical event occurs. The system is composed of a power supply and a solenoid.

For countries with 115 V mains power:

  • Tek part number 016-230 for the power supply
  • Tek part number 016-218 for the solenoid

For countries with 230 V mains power:

  • Tek part number 016-236 for the power supply
  • Tek part number 016-235 for the solenoid
