Technology Review Oct 1979 article on the Cascomp amplifier

This patent describes the so-called "cascomp" amplifier − see John Addis, Good Engineering and Fast Vertical Amplifiers, in Jim Williams (Ed.), Analog Circuit Design: Art, Science and Personalities (1991), p.117.

According to Addis, the circuit was used extensively in the 2465 to reduce the power requirements by increasing linearity for a given standing current.
