The 6L6 (P/N 154-087, 154-0087-00) is a beam power pentode vacuum tube ("kink-less tetrode") for power amplifier applications. It has an octal base.
There are several variants including the direct successor, the 6L6GC. Similar European types include the KT-66 (~6L6GC, beam power) and EL37 (true pentode). (For differences, please see the links below.)
