The Tektronix 283 Real Time Adapter enables the 3T4 sampling timebase to be used for real-time sweeps instead of equivalent-time sweeps.
A 262 programmer can control a 283 and a 3T4 simultaneously. The R283 was used in the S-3100 programmable measurement system.
